New Woven Air Max 95 Multi-Colour On The Way
First leaked back in September last year, we’re now getting a much closer look at the upcoming Air Max 95 Woven “Multi Colour”, and it’s safe to say this pair is turning heads.
This latest iteration brings a fresh twist to the classic Air Max 95 silhouette. The traditional layered side panels are reworked into an intricate woven design, where multicoloured strips intertwine across the upper. This approach gives designers far more room to experiment, and here they’ve fully leaned into that freedom.
We first saw this woven concept surface back in late 2018 into early 2019, when Nike introduced a neon green and black woven Air Max 95. That pair split opinion, some loved the bold direction, while others weren’t fully convinced. Around the same time, a clean white/cream sample was also making rounds, adding even more curiosity to the concept. The woven 95 then made a return in 2022 through Nike By You, allowing fans to create their own versions. Now, fast forward to 2026, and it looks like Nike is ready to give the design a full official rollout.
This “Multi Colour” edition blends the iconic suede gradient of the OG model with vibrant woven hits of yellow, pink, green, and orange. The result is a striking checkerboard-like effect across the side panels. TheDropDate has already coined these the “Sticky Notes”, a fitting nickname considering the bright, playful tones resemble classic sticky note pads.
Looking closer at this Big Bubble edition, there’s plenty more to take in. The upper mixes breathable white mesh with grey suede overlays, staying true to the DNA of the 95 while letting the woven elements do the talking. The mini Swoosh on the lateral heel comes in a dark navy tone, subtly contrasting against the otherwise loud upper. Up top, the tongue features a vibrant oval Air Max badge, blending neon hues that echo the woven colours below.
Down below, the midsole arrives in black, housing enlarged Air units that appear slightly tinted with a deep purple hue, giving them a more modern edge. The rugged outsole keeps things functional, while small pops of colour peek through underneath, tying the whole design together.
All in all, this is a bold evolution of a classic, one that’s likely to divide opinion once again, but that’s part of what makes it interesting.
