Closer Look At The New Air Max 95 “Granite” Big Bubble
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble “Granite” (style code HM4740-007) is part of Nike’s ongoing Big Bubble rollout for 2026, bringing an OG inspired grey gradient to the updated Air Max 95 silhouette.
This version preserves the familiar Air Max 95 upper construction with layered mesh, suede, and synthetic panels that shift from darker shades near the sole to lighter tones toward the top of the shoe. The darker base gradually transitions through medium ash and dark pewter into lighter greys, creating the original silhouette’s signature gradient effect without added accent colours.
The tongue features classic branding and is built from breathable mesh, while the white midsoles contrast with the deeper tones of the upper. Underneath, the shoe uses Nike’s Big Bubble Air units in the heel and forefoot, which are larger versions of the original visible Air cushioning and give the sole a more pronounced profile compared with standard Air Max 95 releases.
The outsole has a mix of grey tones that echo the gradient above, and the overall look stays close to the OG “Granite” palette first seen on the silhouette in the mid-’90s.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble “Granite” (HM4740-007) is slated as a Spring 2026 release through Nike.com and select retailers.
